Brawley discusses health care disparities
Dr. Otis Brawley, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer of the American Cancer Society, speaks on Wednesday evening about healthcare disparities in the United States. On the eve of a presidential summit on healthcare, Brawley examined what he considered some failures of the current medical system. He posited that while a government-based healthcare bill would not completely alleviate disparities in access, it might help. (HELENA VILLALOBOS/The Stanford Daily)
