Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is set to speak about healthcare, education and global poverty on April 19 at Stanford.

Gates’ talk is titled “Giving Back: Finding the Best Way to Make a Difference.” The Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies is sponsoring Gates’ visit.

The talk is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium. Free tickets for Stanford ID holders are available at the Stanford Ticket Office. Limited tickets will also be available at the door, organizers said.

Gates last visited Stanford in February 2008.
