The University Board of Trustees has been meeting since Monday at Yale University in Connecticut, and will conclude its business there today.
The board took up its session on the east coast at the invitation of Yale President Richard Levin ’68, who majored in history at Stanford.
The group is also set to meet briefly with the president of Columbia, Lee Bollinger. Columbia also has a Stanford connection among its top leadership: current Columbia Provost Claude Steele left Stanford, where he was a professor in psychology, in 2009.
