Rankings | Forbes’ lists are out: By a new measure that emphasizes student point of view and satisfaction, Stanford is sixth on a list that boasts Williams College as its frontrunner. Stanford also ranked second behind Harvard in the number of billionaires among its alumni.

Obama Honors Athletes | NCAA champion teams will be honored by the President with a White House reception, including Stanford Women’s Tennis and Men’s Volleyball.

Caltrain Changes | Following announcements of financial difficulty for the public transit system, Caltrain announced it will be holding four community meetings in various Bay Area locations on Thursday, Aug. 19. The meetings will be discussing changes such as cutting weekend service, reducing non-commute hour service, and other changes.
