Ten students received the 2011 Dean’s Award for Academic Accomplishment. The annual award, introduced in spring 1988, is given to between five and 10 undergraduates “who deserve campus-wide recognition for their academic endeavors that might not otherwise be celebrated,” according to a University press release.

The University asks members of the Stanford community to nominate “a student whose brilliant academic accomplishment places him or her among the best 10 current Stanford undergraduates.”

This year, those students are Leander Love-Anderegg ‘11, Elina Robeva ‘11, Owen Marecic ‘11, Katherine Dektar ‘11, Alex Fialho ‘11, Autumn Albers ‘11, Alexander Berger ‘11, Anand Habib ‘11, John Melas-Kyriazi ‘11 and Daniel Jacobson ‘12.
