Caltrain Increases | Starting today, train commuters will be paying an extra $ 0.25 for each zone they travel on the Caltrain system, making the popular trip from campus to San Francisco $6.75, up from the former $6.50. Read more about transit changes all across the Bay here.

Saturday Fireworks | Stanford Lively Arts will put on a fireworks show after the San Jose Earthquakes game at Stanford Stadium Saturday evening. The show is Lively Arts’ first after a several year hiatus. Find a schedule of other shows across the Bay here.

Younger MBAs | More business schools are courting younger students, according to an article from U.S. News. Stanford’s Graduate School of Business offers college seniors a chance to defer their admission.

Phone Tethering | Law professor Barbara van Schewick is calling on the FCC to let the public comment on the practice of “tethering,” or sharing a mobile phone’s broadband connection with multiple devices.
