This report covers a selection of incidents from Sept. 19 through Sept. 27 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety bulletin.

During this period, a higher than usual number of bike collisions occurred throughout campus.

Monday, Sept. 19

A report was filed at 11 a.m. that someone attempted to gain entry to room 127 of the Cummings Art Building between Sept. 15 and this date. While entry was not made, deep gouges were found on the door’s shaft.

At 1:10 p.m. a woman at the intersection of Lasuen and Serra Mall was transported to the San Jose Main Jail and booked for violation of a court stay away order.

Between 1:20 p.m. and 2 p.m. someone stole a wallet from a cubicle at the Center for Clinical Sciences Research. One credit card was used to purchase fuel at a Valero gas station in Mountain View.

Between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. someone stole an iPod and money from an unattended desk at the Visitor Information Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

Between 8:40 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. a cable-locked bike was stolen from the front of the Faculty Club.

A cable-locked bike was stolen from the front of the Faculty Club between 6:15 a.m. and 12 p.m.

At 1:50 p.m. a non-injury, vehicle-vs.-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Via Ortega and Via Pueblo.

Between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. someone stole an iPhone from an unsecured and open storage cubby at the Arrillaga Family Sports Center.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

Between 8:40 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., a cable-locked bike was stolen from outside the front of the Faculty Club.

An injury-bike-vs.-fixed-object collision occurred at 10:30 a.m. in front of Old Union.

Between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. a cable-locked bike was stolen from the bike rack behind Rinconada.

Thursday, Sept. 22

At 1:25 a.m. a man at Ramona Street and University Avenue was cited and released on a warrant out of the Palo Alto Police Department.

Between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. a cable-locked bike was stolen from the front of Alondra.

Friday, Sept. 23

At 3:45 a.m. at Serra Street and Campus Drive a man was cited and released for driving unlicensed.

At 1:40 p.m. on the west side of Encina a non-injury bike-vs.-bike collision occurred.

At 2 p.m. at Galvez Street and Nelson Road a man was cited and released on a warrant out of Santa Clara County.

 

Saturday, Sept. 24

At 11:35 p.m. a man was cited and released for being in possession of alcohol.

Sunday, Sept. 25

Between 11 p.m. the previous day and 10 a.m. today, a U-locked bike was stolen from the bike rack in front of Cedro Hall. The suspect left the front tire.

At 5 p.m. a bike was reported stolen at Studio 5 on Olmsted Road.

Between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. a U-locked bike was stolen from the bike rack outside of Twain.

At 8 p.m. a U-locked bike was reported stolen from in front of the Gates Computer Science Building.

A minor was cited for being in possession of alcohol in Lane W at 11:05 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 26

Between 11 p.m. the previous day and 10 a.m. today a U-locked bicycle turned into a unicycle when everything but the front tire was stolen from the bike rack in front of Cedro Hall.

At 12 a.m. a non-injury, hit and run vehicle-vs.-vehicle collision occurred at Lagunita parking lot.

At 9:15 a.m. at Campus Drive and Panama Mall a man was cited and released on a warrant out of San Francisco.

At 12:25 p.m. a stolen vehicle was recovered at 1115 Campus Drive.

At 4:50 p.m. an injury bike-vs.-pedestrian collision occurred at Serra and Lasuen Mall.

At 10:45 p.m. near 675 Lomita Court a man was transported to the San Jose Main Jail and booked for public intoxication.

At 11:05 p.m. near 675 Lomita Court another man was transported to the San Jose Main Jail and booked for public intoxication.
