Dear Editor,

 

In response to your editorial published on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 entitled, “Underprivileged students and intro classes,” I want to clarify that both Chem 31A and 31B are offered during summer quarter. These courses would fulfill the requirements for both pre-med and engineering students and give students more flexibility in building their year-long schedules. We encourage all students to explore the Stanford Summer Session website at: summer.stanford.edu, discuss with their academic advisors how summer quarter can help them fulfill requirements and to diversify and deepen their Stanford experience.
