Dec. 11, 2012, 7:19 p.m.

More than 200 community members gathered in White Plaza on Tuesday evening to celebrate the fourth night of Hanukkah in an event organized by the Rohr Chabad House at Stanford, a Jewish student center.

The event featured an 8-foot ice sculpture in the shape of a menorah and shorts talks by Rabbi Dov Greenberg and Chabad President Mica Esquenazi ’13.

University President John Hennessy and Secretary to the Board of Trustees Jeff Wachtel lit the menorah’s candles.
