Matthew Jay Roach ’79’s HBO film “Game Change” won a Golden Globe award for best miniseries or TV movie last night.

The film is based on the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign, adapted from a book by the same name. It was screened on campus at Cemex Auditorium on Feb. 28, 2012.

Roach has also directed “Austin Powers,” “Meet the Parents” and, most recently, “The Campaign,” a comedy starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis.
