SIMILE program cancelled, Op-Ed on the cost of Greek life

April 6, 2015, 12:09 a.m.

Due to low student interest, the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education will cease to sponsor the Science in the Making Integrated Learning Environment (SIMILE) program at the end of this year. In celebration of Autism Awareness Day, Autism Speaks U Stanford hosted a series of events throughout the day on Thursday to allow the student body to show support for individuals around the world affected by autism and their families. An op-ed expresses the hope that the mainstream Greek community has the courage to be honest with itself about the disconnect it has with Stanford’s ever more inclusive goals. “The Demo” is a kaleidoscope of ideas, media and art expertly combined, but at its core it sorely lacks narrative interest.
