Tickets for “Harry’s Last Lecture on a Meaningful Life,” featuring Oprah Winfrey, will be available via lottery starting on April 9 at 10 a.m. and ending on April 10 at 11:59 p.m. Faculty, staff and students with valid SUIDs are eligible to enter the lottery. Only one entry will be allowed per SUID holder.
Each lottery winner will receive at most one ticket. Winners will be notified by email on April 13 and may retrieve their tickets at the Stanford Ticket Office between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, or between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15. Tickets not picked up by 5 p.m. on April 15 will be forfeited.
Winfrey, a media proprietor and former talk show host, is the Rathbun Visiting Fellow for 2015. At 7 p.m. on April 20, she will speak in honor of the late law professor Harry Rathbun, who was known for his annual “Last Lecture” during his tenure at Stanford.
Winfrey is returning to campus after delivering the Commencement address in 2008.
