Student describes harassment, retaliation from SAE members

In an op-ed, Tess Bloch-Horowitz ’17 describes what happened at last May’s Roman Bath party at SAE, and the harassment that she says SAE members directed against her due to a false rumor that she had reported the party to Stanford. On Tuesday, the University had removed the fraternity’s housing privileges indefinitely as a result of an investigation that found, among other things, it had engaged in intimidating and retaliatory conduct. An Istanbul program based on CS106A taught by Stanford professor Nick McKeown and his wife, Asena Gencel MA ‘96, will run for its second summer.
