Stanford beats USC; new animal science program launched

Even though NSO was ongoing, the weekend was not without excitement — Stanford knocked off USC, breaking a two-game losing streak to the Trojans and establishing themselves as contenders in the Pac-12. Classes for undergrads start on Monday, including a new engineering class that explores the role of gender and diversity in the world of engineering. The Department of Comparative Medicine also introduced a new masters’ program in laboratory animal sciences.
