Full Moon on the Quad 2016-2017

Jan. 13, 2017, 1:55 a.m.

Traditionally held in October, Full Moon on the Quad occurred Thursday night this year, bringing students from around campus into the Main Quad clad in rally gear, casualwear and in some cases nothing at all. This year’s iteration of the event reflected efforts from the junior class presidents to comply with the University’s request that the event deemphasize sex. The result was an event with fewer kisses and more roses, harkening back to the rose-giving ceremonies of early Stanford Full Moons. Photos by Chris Delgado and Michael Spencer.
