Man reported missing from Main Quad area

Update (Feb. 10, 9:26 p.m.): The missing man, Danny, was found. In one report released by SUDPS, the man was incorrectly referred to as Richard. 

 

An 87-year-old man has been reported missing from campus, according to an AlertSU Community Alert published by the Stanford Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) on Saturday evening.

The man, whose first name is Danny, has been described as Chinese. He is reportedly 5 feet 7 inches, weighs about 160 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. SUDPS did not provide the man’s last name.

The man was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in the general area near Main Quad and the Cantor Arts Center, according to SUDPS. At the time, he was reportedly wearing a checkered shirt, a black jacket and black pants. He also carried a messenger bag.
