Police Blotter: Bike theft, identity theft, battery

This report covers a selection of incidents from Sept. 23 to Sept. 29 as recorded in the Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin. 

Tuesday, Sept. 22

  • Between 10 a.m. on Sept. 20 and 1:45 p.m., a bike was stolen from Knight Management Center.
  • Between 12 p.m. on June 7 and 12 p.m. on Aug. 24, there was an identity theft reported at 1024 Cathcart Way.
  • Between 2 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 4:30 p.m., a bike was stolen from Lyman Graduate Building 1.

Thursday, Sept. 24

  • Between 2 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 12:30 p.m., a bike was stolen from Escondido Village Building D.

Friday, Sept. 25

  • At 2:40 p.m., a bike was stolen from Wilbur Hall Rinconada House.
  • Between 9:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., a bike was stolen from Beckman Center.
  • Between 9:20 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., bike parts were stolen from Sherman Fairchild Science Building.
  • Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., a vehicle was stolen from Stanford Golf Course.

Saturday, Sept. 26

  • At 1:55 p.m., a bike was stolen from 64 Olmsted Road.

Sunday, Sept. 27

  • Between 2 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 12:00 p.m. on Sept. 27, a bike was stolen from Escondido Village Building B.
  • Between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m, property was stolen from a vehicle at Wilbur Field Garage.

Monday, Sept 28

  • At 12:24 a.m., battery was reported from Escondido Village Hastorf House.
  • Between 7 and 10:15 a.m., a bike was stolen from Bass Biology Building.
  • Between 2:30 on Sept. 26 and 3 p.m., a vehicle was stolen from Polya Hall.
  • Between 10 p.m. on Sept. 26 and 3 p.m., property was stolen from a vehicle at Wilbur Field Garage.
  • Between 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 27 and 12:44 a.m., a bike was stolen from 680 Jane Stanford Way.
