Freshman guard Andrej Stojakovic commits to Cal

After entering the transfer portal last month, freshman Andrej Stojakovic has decided to move across the Bay and play for the California Golden Bears.

Despite an inefficient season which saw him shoot 41% from the field and 32% from beyond the arc, the six-foot-seven guard was expected to fill a greater role next season. The former McDonald’s All-American is a three-level scorer with a variety of scoring moves in his arsenal.

Stojakovic reportedly chose Cal over basketball blue-bloods Kentucky and North Carolina.

Now, Stanford head coach Kyle Smith will need to utilize the portal in order to get experienced guard play for next year. With Maxime Raynaud returning to the Farm for his senior season, Stanford should be an attractive place for portal players to choose this upcoming season.
