Police Blotter: Grand theft, stalking and disorderly conduct

Monday, Sept. 16

  • An incident of stalking between 10:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. was reported on Sept. 16 at Manzanita Field Parking Garage.
  • Simple battery on a person at 12:37 p.m. was reported on Sept. 16 at the Madera Child Care Center.

The Daily has reached out to SUDPS for comment on the report of battery at the Madera Child Care Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

  • A person suspected of disorderly conduct, appropriating lost property, possession of burglary tools and possession of personal identifying information with the intent to defraud was arrested at 3:48 a.m. on Sept. 17 near the Arrillaga Outdoor Education and Recreation Center. 
  • Petty theft of an electric bicycle between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. was reported on Sept. 17 at Arrillaga Family Dining Commons.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

  • Grand theft of an electric bicycle between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. was reported on Sept. 18 at EVGR (Building A).
  • Possession of unlawful paraphernalia resulting in an arrest at 12:43 p.m. was reported on Sept. 18 near Olmsted Road and Yale Street.
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 4 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 18 was reported at Blackwelder Highrise.
  • Petty theft between 12 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 was reported at Olmsted Road and Yale Street. 

Thursday, Sept. 19

  • Disorderly conduct at 6:41 a.m. on Sept. 19 was reported at Otero. 
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 12:05 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 18 was reported at 64 Abrams Court.
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle on Sept. 16 between the hours of 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. was reported at the Oval.
  • Petty theft between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Sept. 19 was reported at the Career Development Center.
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle between 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Sept. 18 was reported at the Som Central Loading Dock.
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle between 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 19 was reported at Searsville Parking Lot.
  • Petty theft between 1:57 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 18 was reported at Escondido Village Studio 1. 
  • Grand theft of an electric bicycle between 9 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 19 was reported at Ujamaa. 
  • Petty theft from a motor vehicle between 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 7:50 a.m. on Sept. 18 was reported near Tolman Drive. 

Friday, Sept. 20

  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 16 and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 17 was reported near Tolman Drive.
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle at 10:50 a.m. on Sept. 20 was reported at Lot 95 near the Track House.
  • A misdemeanor warrant arrest was made at 12:25 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Lantana/Castaño Commons.
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 was reported at Lot 95 near the Track House.

Saturday, Sept. 21

  • Vandalism was reported at 9:50 a.m. on Sept. 21 at 500 Mayfield Avenue.
  • Petty theft from a building between 12:00 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 21 was reported at Soto.
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 9 a.m. on Aug. 28 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 21 was reported at Arrillaga Family Dining Commons.

 Sunday, Sept. 22

  • A suspicious person was reported at 2:48 a.m. on Sept. 22 at Escondido Village Studio 2.
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle at 11:05 a.m. was reported on Sept. 22 at Lot 39.
  • Non-criminal hate violence at 4:12 p.m. was reported on Sept. 22 at the William H. Neukom Building.
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 7:00 p.m. on May 28 and 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 22 was reported at Robert Moore Hall.
  • Petty theft between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 22 was reported at Florence Moore Hall.

 Monday, Sept. 23

  • Petty theft from a building at 9:30 a.m. was reported on Sept. 23 at Escondido Village Studio 3.
