Police Blotter: Nov. 1 – Nov. 7

This report covers a selection of incidents from Nov. 1 to Nov. 7 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

  • Between 4 p.m. on Oct. 31 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 2, an unknown suspect entered an unoccupied residence in the Pearce Mitchell Complex and stole property.

Wednesday, Nov. 2

  • Between 11 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 2, a locked bike was stolen from a bike rack near Wilbur Hall.
  • At 12 p.m. at Arboretum and Galvez St., an individual was cited and released in connection with two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
  • Between 5:20 a.m. and 7 p.m., a license plate was stolen from a car parked in Roth Way Garage.
  • Between 11:15 and 12:45 a.m., an unlocked, unattended bike was stolen outside the Sloan Math Center.

Thursday, Nov. 3

  • Between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m., an unknown suspect stole an unattended smartphone in Stern Hall. The smartphone was on the ground in the hallway of the dormitory.

Friday, Nov. 4

  • At 7:48 p.m. on Mayfield Avenue and Campus Drive, a driver was cited and released for driving on a suspended license.

Saturday, Nov. 5

  • At 1:35 a.m., an unknown suspect punched a victim who was biking back to her dorm room near Nathan Abbott Mall at Bowdoin Lane. The victim did not sustain any visible injuries. The suspect is still at large.
  • Between 11:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unlocked bike was stolen from the bike corral near gate six of the Stanford Stadium.
  • A drug-related medical transport occurred.

Sunday, Nov. 6

  • A U-locked bike was stolen from the bike rack located outside Castaño between 5 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6 p.m. Nov. 6.

Monday, Nov. 7

  • A bicyclist collided with a fixed object at 2:15 pm on Lasuen Mall at O’Connor Lane.
  • Between 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 10 p.m. on Nov. 7, a cable locked bike was stolen from the bike rack located outside of Otero dorm in Wilbur Hall.
  • Between 3 and 4:30 p.m. a U-locked bike was stolen from the bike rack outside the GSB Knight Management Center.

There were no alcohol transports reported between Nov. 1 and Nov. 7 as recorded in the SUDPS bulletin. However, there was one drug transport.
