Police Blotter: Nov. 8 – Nov. 14

This report covers a selection of incidents from Nov. 8 to Nov. 14 as recorded in the Stanford Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

  • Between 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 9, an unknown suspect used black spray paint to write anti-Trump graffiti on the walls and ground of both Stern and Wilbur Halls.

Wednesday, Nov. 9

  • At 1:05 a.m., a biker collided with a fixed object on Escondido Road at Lasuen Mall.
  • At 3:50 p.m., an arrestee was cited and released for driving unlicensed.
  • At 5:35 p.m., vehicle and bike collided near the Via Ortega Garage.

Thursday, Nov. 10

  • At 1:15 p.m., two arrestees were cited and released for assault and battery involving spit.
  • A car accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Campus Drive West at Quarry Road.
  • At 4 p.m., an arrestee was cited and released for driving on a suspended license.
  • At 6:08 p.m., a hit-and-run car accident occurred on Palm Drive at Campus Drive. No one was injured.

Friday, Nov. 11

  • At 1 a.m., an arrestee was cited and released for driving on a suspended license.
  • At 10 a.m. there was a collision between a vehicle and a bike on Campus Drive at Palm Drive.
  • At 10:05 p.m., a loud party at Phi Kappa Psi was reported. The music was eventually turned down. No more noise complaints were reported.

Saturday, Nov. 12

  • At 12:25 a.m., an arrestee was cited and released for being a minor in possession of alcohol near the Theta Delta Chi fraternity house.
  • Between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m., someone stole an unattended iPhone from the dining room counter of La Maison Française.
  • At 11:35 p.m., a loud party complaint was reported at Kairos House. The music was turned down. After another noise complaint was reported at 12:45 a.m.,  SUDPS deputies requested the music be turned off, and the party ended.
  • At 11:10 p.m., two arrestees were cited and released for being minors in possession of alcohol.

Sunday, Nov. 13

  • At 5 p.m., an arrestee was transported to the San Jose Main Jail and booked for embezzlement.

Monday, Nov. 14

  • At 5:50 a.m., an arrestee was cited and released for driving unlicensed.

There was one alcohol transport reported between Nov. 1 and Nov. 7 as recorded in the SUDPS bulletin.
