A woman reported that a man kissed her without consent after representing himself as a rideshare service driver and picking her up from an East Campus residence on Saturday night. The battery is under active investigation.

The woman was driven to a nearby parking lot at around 11:30 p.m. when the man stopped the car and got into the backseat to kiss her. The victim immediately left the vehicle and called 911.

No details were reported about the suspect other than his gender.

An AlertSU notification of the incident was sent out to all students on Monday at approximately 5 p.m.

Stanford University Department of Public Safety spokesperson Bill Larson told The Daily he does not have any additional information on the incident at this time.
