Police Blotter: Grand theft, attempted extortion and vandalism

Monday, Sept. 24

  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 24 at 735 Campus Drive (EVGR-B).
  • Petty theft of a bicycle between 12:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 at 350 Jane Stanford Way (David Packard Electrical Engineering Building).  
  • Vandalism of $400 or more between 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 20 and 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 was reported on Sept. 24 at 3185 Alpine Road (Felt Lake & Dam). 

Tuesday, Sept. 25

  • Vehicle theft between 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 20 and 1:20 on Sept. 25 was reported at 560 Wilbur Way (Wilbur South Lot). 
  • Grand theft from a building between 12:00 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 12:00 on Sept. 21 was reported on Sept. 25 at 726 Serra Street (EVGR-C). 
  • An arrest for unauthorized access of a dwelling, including appropriating lost property and nonconsensual lodging, was reported between 7:26 p.m. and 8:26 p.m. on Sept. 25 at 236 Santa Teresa Street (Robinson House). 

Saturday, Sept. 28

  • Attempted petty theft between 1:47 a.m. and 2:09 a.m. on Sept. 28 was reported at 655 Campus Drive (Maples Pavilion). 
  • Petty theft from a building was reported at 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 28 at 219 Ayrshire Farm Lane (Rains Houses’ Willis Lounge). 
  • Grand theft of an electric bicycle between 10:00 p.m. on June 29 and 9:00 a.m. on June 30 was reported on Sept. 28 at 658 Escondido Road (Cedro – Wilbur Hall).
  • Petty theft at 2:00 a.m. on Sept. 27 at 757 Campus Drive (EVGR-A) was reported on Sept. 28. 
  • Petty theft of bicycle parts between 9:00 a.m. on May 20 and 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 25 at 370 Jane Stanford Way (Hewlett Teaching Center) was reported on Sept. 28.
  • An outside warrant arrest for a misdemeanor was made at 295 Galvez Street (Track House Lot) at 3:20 p.m. on Sept. 28.  
  • An arrest for disorderly conduct involving alcohol and drug intoxication, resistance of an officer and battery was made at 10:20 p.m. on Sept. 28 at Lausen St. and Museum Way. 

Sunday, Sept. 29

  • Attempted extortion was reported on Sept. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at 737 Campus Drive (Quillen Highrise). 

Monday, Sept. 30

  • Motor vehicle theft between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 30 at 365 Galvez Street (Ford Center). 
  • Motor vehicle theft between 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 24 at 190 Searsville Road (Searsville Parking Lot) was reported on Sept. 30.
