With six seconds left in regulation at AT&T Stadium, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson ’21 M.A ’22 got behind the Dallas defense in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard touchdown that tied Sunday’s game at 30. The score came right after a 27-yard grab that put the Cardinals at the Dallas 13-yard line. Arizona proceeded to win 33-30 in overtime.

Elsewhere, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee ’24 lost his third-straight game as a starter, and several other Stanford alumni, including San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, enjoyed a bye week.

Standout performances

Bobby Okereke ’18 (LB, Carolina Panthers) – Okereke made five tackles and recovered a fumble in a 27-19 loss last Thursday at Green Bay. His recovery ended a Packers drive in the second quarter with Carolina leading 10-6. While the Panthers have lost two straight games, they remain atop the NFC South with a 3-4 record.

Michael Wilson ’21 M.A. ’22 (WR, Arizona Cardinals) – Wilson finished with eight catches for 111 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets, a season high for the fourth-year receiver. His 17-yard rush in overtime moved Arizona into Dallas territory, helping set up the game-winning field goal in a 33-30 win. Wilson is also playing through two broken ribs and has posted 486 receiving yards and two touchdown catches halfway through the season. The Cardinals are 3-5.

Notable contributions

Tanner McKee ’24 (QB, Philadelphia Eagles) – McKee threw for 212 yards and an interception in a 27-10 loss at Washington. The Eagles, with a 2-6 record, have lost six straight games, and all three of McKee’s starts resulted in losses. McKee has now been benched in favor of Joe Milton, who was acquired off the Cowboys’ practice squad in October.

Elic Ayomanor ’26 (WR, Tennessee Titans) – Ayomanor caught three passes for 34 yards in a close 43-36 overtime loss at Cincinnati. The Titans are 1-7.

Simi Fehoko ’22 (WR, Arizona Cardinals) – Fehoko caught his first-ever pass in a Cardinals uniform for 17 yards in the win at Dallas.
