Stanford football defeats USC, 37-35

Stanford’s football team defeated Southern California on Saturday night, 37-35.

The Cardinal won the game on a last-second field goal from senior kicker Nate Whitaker, who had earlier missed a crucial extra point.

The game was back and forth between the Cardinal and the Trojans all night, with one team scoring and the other responding in kind. The game did come down to who had the ball last, and fortunately for Stanford fans, that ended up being the Cardinal.
