Stanford student’s death ruled suicide

The Denver County, Colo., medical examiner has ruled the recent death of a 22-year-old Stanford student a suicide caused by a drug overdose.

Claire Roscow ’10 died Dec. 28, 2010, in Denver. A former class president, Roscow studied biomechanical engineering. As an undergraduate fellow at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education, she organized volunteers for the Dalai Lama’s visit to Stanford in October.

A local memorial service is set for Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. in Memorial Church.
