She switched from the sports section to news her junior year, where she has worked on the university/local beat since. Outside hitter Jordan Burgess (right) ended her Stanford career in the Cardinal's three-set loss to Loyola Marymount in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. The senior hit .320 on the night and had 8 of the team's 35 kills in the match. In one of the final plays of the match, she also had an impressive hustle play to keep the ball inbounds and help Stanford win the point, which if LMU had won would have given them the match.
