Some students are changing their plans for the future, taking a hard look at graduate school, to adapt to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic and get more time on campus.
Stanford welcomed new prospective members to the Class of 2025 through its restrictive early action admissions on Dec. 11. Despite various challenges, the prospective frosh said they felt excited about their admissions.
According to experts, adolescents and adults are receiving information flow differently than in previous decades. As a result, everyday behaviors are thus rapidly changing due to decreasing attention spans and a need for multitasking in a digital society.
“The Years That Matter Most” author Paul Tough said that rethinking admissions at selective universities needs to be more radical.
